The roomba vacuum is a totally unique unit that runs on its own, seeking out areas that need cleaning on your floor. It reminds me of a robot dog as it slowly scurries around your room. They average around $200-$300 in price.

I wasn't sure this vacuum was for me so I also looked at Dyson, Kirby and Oreck. We currently have a Kirby and an Oreck that we borrowed from my sister.
