I really like the lightweight Oreck. My housekeeper does, too. But it’s not mine, I’m borrowing it from my sister. So I’m on the hunt for a new vacuum. The oreck doesn’t really do room edges very well. There are no on board attachments so deciding to do that is kind of a pain. But the thing is very easy to get from one floor to another. I’m curious to see what a Dyson would do after having gone over the room with an oreck.
Maintenance is fairly easy. Belts and bags are easy to change, ok, moderately easy. Anyone with zero skills may need to take it in for a checkup, but other people can do these belt changes themselves.
